Founded in 2012 by Andreas Helgesson Gonzaga and Isabell Gonzaga, HelgessonGonzaga works in the fields of architecture, art, research, education, urbanism and landscape.


Andreas Helgesson Gonzaga

was born in Gothenburg, Sweden, 1979. He holds a Master in Architecture from the Faculty of Engineering at LTH in Lund, Sweden and a Graduate Diploma in Architecture from Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment in London, UK. Before setting up his own studio in 2012 he collaborated on projects within practices such as Tham & Videgård Arkitekter, Stockholm, Zaha Hadid Architects, London and Norman Foster and Partners, London. Andreas was teaching in a 1st and 3rd year Studio at the KTH, Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm between 2013 to 2018.


Isabell Gonzaga

was born in Gothenburg, Sweden, 1975. She holds a Master in Architecture from the Faculty of Engineering at LTH in Lund, Sweden and an MArch in Architecture and Interior from London Metropolitan University, UK. Before setting up HelgessonGonzaga together with Andreas she worked in a number of offices including Takero Shimazaki Architects, London, SandellSandberg Arkitekter, Stockholm. In parallel to her own office, Isabell is currently holding a lecturer position and running a 1st year studio at the KTH, Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
